Thank you entry contest! Themes for August What’s New? Search It, Find It, Plan It! When I woke up this morning, I reviewed the traffic report. Not the one on the news, but the one that tells me the number of visitors to Preschool-Plan-It’s Website and it showed that there are now over 1000 subscribers to the Preschool Plan-It Primer---this very newsletter you are reading now! WOWSERS! Here, on this site, we have over 1,000 “cyber-colleagues” from 30 countries around the world to share ideas with! I am so excited to know that this website is helpful to so many people who dedicate themselves to the growth and development of the most awesome age group on the planet-Preschoolers!! Let’s keep the ideas and themes building and growing! Here’s the plan! Submit 2 activity ideas for one of the not yet posted themes, and your email address will be entered into a random drawing. The winners will win either a free online Preschool Nutrition Training from Life Balance Health Counseling (which may qualify for your in-service hours—check with your director!) or a $15.00 Amazon Gift Card!* Here’s how it works: First….. Choose a theme from this list: Alphabet, Author Themes (i.e. Eric Carle), Babies, Calendar, Colors, Community Helpers, Cowboys/Wild West, Feelings, Food Groups, Mad Science, Numbers, Pirates, Pond Life, Sticky, Zoo Animals Second……Write up 2 age-appropriate, hands on activities for the theme choosing from the following Interest areas: Art, Cooking, Circle Time, Gross-Motor Games, Math/Manipulatives Activity, Science Activities. Third….Email your ideas to me at misscheryl@preschool-plan-it.com Be sure to list the name of the theme and your first and last name in the email! Type ENTRY in the subject line! Rules: Limit 1 submission per person You MUST be a subscriber to the Preschool Plan-It Primer Click Here to Subscribe for FREE! Activities must have list of materials needed and how-to instructions Submissions must be received by 12:00 (midnight) CST (Central Standard Time) August 31, 2012. Winners will be announced on September 3, 2012 on Preschool-Plan-It’s Facebook Page. (You can find it listed as Preschool Plan-It). Each winner will be individually notified by me via email as well. The winners will be chosen at random. There are 10 prizes total (5 inservice trainings and 5 gift cards). Entries may be sent in beginning today, August 1, 2012!
