(Red Lion, PA)One of my student teachers was teaching a song to the preschoolers and one child asked:
"What are we making for the craft today?"
The teacher replied, "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." without thinking about it and continued on with song.
Several students were heard asking,
"What bridge?" "Where's the bridge?" not understanding the saying, and taking the words literally!
