Create A Website That Sets Your Preschool Apart From the Competition

Create a website that sets your preschool program apart from others and significantly increase your preschool enrollment!

Once you’ve incorporated strategies for your preschool website to be found online, you want to really think about what sets you apart from other programs and highlight that uniqueness for those who visit your website.

Preschool Website

This goes beyond listing your philosophy of education, types of classrooms (toddler, preschool, pre-k) or that you are state licensed.

Yes, you want to have that information on your website somewhere.

But don't stop there.

If you do, quite frankly, your website is nothing more than an online version of your brochure or yellow pages ad.

However, you want to highlight the benefits a family will receive by choosing your program over another program.

Did you get that?

You want to HIGHLIGHT THE BENEFITS.

Listing the other information is useful and should be on your site, but remember the old saying, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

So show them why you care by telling them how and why your program is the best fit for them!

What is it, specifically, that sets you apart and offers a benefit
(or benefits) not found at other programs?

Preschool Website
  • Are you state licensed AND NAEYC approved?
  • Do you have all degreed teachers?
  • Do you offer drop in care?  Evening Care?  Extended Care?
  • Does your program open earlier and/or remain open longer than other programs?
  • Do you offer evening care?
  • Are you a Christian based program?
  • Do you offer transportation?
  • Do you offer special school vacation programs?
  • Do you offer in-house or off-site field trips each week or month?

List how your uniqueness is a benefit to families.

Example 1: You open earlier than most programs, let visitors know WHY you do!

“We know the commute to work starts early.  That is why we have hours that begin at 6:00 AM.  We also include breakfast for your child!”.

Example 2:  You have on-site or off-site field trips each month.  Why do you do this?

"We know children learn best by being involved in their learning.  We plan monthly field trips to support their learning each month.  It might be a trip to the local library or a visit from ABC Exotic Animals."
